Which do you like better or have good results with these products. Cowboy Magic or Chris Christensen products. Also has anyone used Wen pet products or Wen for people on your pet?

We LOVE Cowboy Magic for getting mats out.  We also use Horse Mane 'N Tail spray in detangler to help get mats out.  My groomer likes to use BedHead.

Do you use the cowboy magic detangler cream? Was looking at that product online and wasn't sure how to apply and if it was any good?

Yes.  It is more like vasoline than cream.  You put a bit on your fingers and rub it into the mat; wait a bit; then brush/comb out.  I use it on specific mats.  I use the spray in detangler (Horse Mane 'N Tail usually) to spray and area - then brush/comb and move to another area and repeat.

I use Wen on me, buy it for my granddaughter, got 2 years. I love it. I plan and trying it on my pup when I get her.
