Our sweet Maizy passed away

Over the last week Maizy slowly stopped eating and drinking. I arrived home from work yesterday with plans to take her to the vet right away. I work midnights so I got home at 8am. She didn't greet me at the door like normal. I went to go find her and she could barely stand up. I rushed her to the vet but it was too late, she had to be put to sleep.

It was an Addison's crisis. I am so sad, words can't even describe. I feel like a family member has died. She was only 2 years old.

Rest in peace my sweetheart.

Our breeder feels awful as well and has said she will have a puppy for us if/when we are ready.

My heart breaks to see this post. I am so sorry you have lost your Maizy. Such a sweet girl... Please take care of yourself and remember all of your happy times with her. Sending thoughts and prayers your way. <3

So sorry to hear about the loss of your beloved Maizy! I can only imagine the heartbreak you must be facing. May you soon be able to move past this horrible hurt and only smile/laugh when thinking and sharing stories about your Maizy. Big hug to you!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I understand the feelings you are having as I lost my girl Bella two years ago. She was only three years old. It helped me to morn and not hide my feeling of loss. A day does not go by that I still do not think of her. I gained my comfort from knowing her spirit lives on. I feel her love... Energy never dies.. Your precious Maizy lives on.. her spirit is around you.
