I love Thornit

We moved to Hawaii last July. The dogs are in the ocean at least a couple of times a week. Last fall, Kona got a bad ear infection when I went out of town and was not personally attending to his ears. After clearing up the infection, I consistently put Thornit in the doodles'  ears to dry those ears after swimming. No ear infections. I'm just posting this for the summer months when your doodles might be in the pool or lakes or oceans. Thornit is a powder I order from England and it dries the ear. Love it!

I love Thornit, too! Lucy's first year had her in the vet's office time and time again due to ear infections. It was one continuous ear infection, really. Meds would help but the infection would come right back. Since starting on Thornit she hasn't had a single ear infection (over 3 yrs ago). I apply it after every bath and Oscar gets it too. He's never had an ear infection. Ever. Neither dog swims, BTW.

A note here, it is not to be used to treat an infection. If your dog has an ear infection--See A Vet and get treatment.

But for maintenance, after a bath, after swimming, and monthly, this is all we use.

It might be good to mention here that the USA does  not sell Thornit.  The US sells like products but not the real Thornit.

Order it from the UK.  I've had my 100ml bottle now for well over two years and it is only one-third gone.  

Use only a pinch in each ear and work it down.   It lasts forever and is worth the $50.00

Thank you for sharing! We have been taking the dogs to the beach, their new found love, and we were trying to decide what would be a good solution for keep their ears dry. I will definitely be making a purchase!
