Hello! My friend has a 6 month old female Bernedoodle, Olive. She has been chewing corners of cardboard boxes. Is she just teething? Is it a habit she needs to kick? Is she seeking attention? She has plenty of toys and another dog to keep her occupied.

puppies LOVE TO CHEW on boxes, woodwork, chair rungs--you just need to keep redirecting them to  what they are allowed to have...and yes, he is teething..

Agreed! Chewing is a puppies favorite activity! ;)

We love antlers in our house!

My pup chewed the corners of my magazines, books, chair legs, and torn up the looping on a Berber rug. Then a friend to me about Bitter Apple spray. Totally safe and broke the habit immediately. They sell it at Petco.
Also the best chew toy ever sold is the 9 inch Deer Antler. The only thing that has survived longer than 15 minutes before Buster ripped it apart. He gnaws on it for a good hour till he's so exhausted.
The chewing is much worse when teething but my guys have their permanent teeth and are still chewing, deer antlers are awesome!!

In addition to all of the great advice the others have given, (antlers, plenty of other chew objects, bitter apple spray, redirecting, etc), I'd also suggest that any cardboard boxes be removed from areas where the puppy has access, if those are particularly tempting to her. I can't think of a reason why there would need to be cardboard boxes in open areas of a home. :)
