Diana Gabaldon and doodle liberation

My husband  is gone to San Diego for a family funeral, and I am at home with three dogs (my two plus a regular boarder).  I also am totally involved in Diana Gabaldon's newest book, Written in my Own Heart's Blood, and spending lots of time just reading.  Yesterday, the dogs were out in the backyard and I lost track of time and then heard Harpo bark at the front door.  After finishing the paragraph, I went to the front door and looked outside, called Harpo, then went to the backyard and discovered they were all gone.  Called again, and they all came running to the stairs below the deck.  When I checked, the workshop doors were open and I have no idea how long they had been wandering the neighborhood.  Harpo knows how to open the latch doors and he opened the door into the shop from the backyard, and then to the outside.  Since no neighbors called me that the doodles were roaming the neighborhood, I hope they were not outside too long, but you might say I was just "encompacitated".  Diana's fault!

Love Diana Gabaldon, just put that book on my Kindle and racing to finish another book so I can start it.  Note to self...check doors and gates before opening. 

PS...you know they may have been in a time warp when you were not seeing them, just sayin!

I just downloaded it, too. I'm going to 'savor' it-if you know what I mean. Are you going to watch the Outlander serious on Starz? It starts August 9th. I'm both excited and nervous. Will they do our Jamie justice!?

You betcha.  I even bought Starz and have tried it for a couple of months.  My husband likes the old Western movies.  I am not a TV watcher, but had to have Starz for Outlander.

I too am trying to finish up a book to start Diana's latest!!  have to watch my doodle too  lol,,, i hope the series on TV does Jamie justice too

Oh, I think it will.  Have you seen some of the trailers?  He is just darling and sooooo sexy.  Maybe it is just because I am so much into the characters.  There was an interview with Jamie and Claire with hand-held boards and answering questions about each other.  I feel like I know them already (as Jamie and Claire of course).

I finished MOBY in book form reawakening my Diana Gabaldon addiction so I have now started on the Audio version, starting with Outlander !  Love Davinia Porter.  She makes the book come to life.

She definitely does.  I feel like I know Claire and Jamie and can hardly wait to see the program on TV.

I have finally gotten to a place in life where I can once again indulge myself in book reading. I will have to look into this authors work, you all peeked my interest. Thanks. I will have to make sure doodles are inside when I start though. Lol
