We're starting to transition Oliver to staying at home during the day (he was previously at daycare). We have "off limits" furniture in our living room. When we are home he's good about obeying the rules. When I checked the puppy spy cam today, on day #2 of the new schedule, guess where he is? Taking a serious nap on the off limits furniture!!! What a little stinker!

Yep! Libby was never allowed on the couches at her mom's (she is at my house), and never even attempted to sit on them. Then one day we came into the house and she was too slow getting off and she was caught! It was so funny. Sneaky doodles!
Cute! I would have no problem with this, providing that this is the only thing "wrong" he is doing while you are gone!
What a Sweet Sleepy Boy!!
We caught our Wirehaired Pointing Griffon doing this and she knew she was in the worng because she has a guilty face she makes whenever you ask her if she did something bad. She kind of squints, grins and shows her teeth which is hilarious. I guess a soft couch is too much sometimes for any dog lol.
At least he looks terribly guilty about it. NOT.
Laughing out loud here, at least he matches...
I should also tell you that Sadie was never allowed on the living couch until I had a petsitter that she clearly knew she could bamboozle, and when I came home after a week she was on that couch as soon as my back was turned. I finally gave in and put a blanket down on "her" part of the couch, and now she's actually very good about sticking to that part of the couch. She has me so well trained...
Ahh, he can't help himself! Too cute!
So funny.....that's a pretty smart Doodle. They say it's all about "context"...so for Oliver nobody home = sleep anywhere you want.
I think I see a blanket throw in the future of that couch...can't really blame him for trying! too cute. (you can see we are pushovers)
He has a designated puppy couch in another room w/ a blanket over it. I guess we only want what we can't have!
