Chewbacca (Chewy) is coming home tomorrow too!

I'm so excited!!! It's been 6 long months of waiting. I've seen photos of him, but I've never seen him in person. I can't wait to hold him and squeeze him tomorrow!

I think chewy is from the same litter as my phoebe!! We picked her up this morning! Waltzing Matilda???

Yes! I remember that name on the 7week photo slide show. She is adorable! Michelle is so good at what she does. Thanks to her, Chewy is pretty much potty trained, loves the crate, slept through most of the night, and he's so irresistible when we're playing. Do you live near her at all? I'm about 15 min. away.

How exciting for you and your family.  Chewy is soooo cute!  How old are your 3 boys?  I have 3 grown sons, and 3 grandsons!  Whatever their ages, I am sure they will have a friend for life :)

Thanks so much. My sons are teenagers-18, 16, and 13. They and my husband have been a great help so far. Chewy has adjusted very well to being a part of our pack :-)

 I won't have seen my pup until I bring it home either and it makes me nervous. Poor little thing-this strange person putting me in a car and driving off. Hope Chewbacca is adjusting well and you are getting sleep. Any suggestions to help me acclimate my little doodle.

Well we learned the hard way that we needed to keep him confined to a certain area for potty training. We have one of those grassy indoor pads, plus he goes outside, so he was doing well the first 1.5 weeks in a confined area. Then he learned how to walk up and down the steps, which we thought was soooo cute, until he started going off on his own and marking his territory several times a day. We quickly realized that was way too much freedom for him, so he's back to his confined area (kitchen and family room). It's kind of like having a toddler. Other than that, he's brought so much joy to our home. I'm sure you'll be so happy with your puppy.

 I get Jazzy a week from tomorrow-with a 2 day drive home. I keep trying to think of things I might have forgot to get. have to make a first aide kit this weekend.  Putting gates up tomorrow. Can't wait to nuzzle her. It's been a long time planning. Good luck with your new little one.
