Have your vet run a fecal to check for giardia or other parasites. Very common in doodle puppies.

Agree with Karen and no new treats or other food--just what the breeder was giving her--and also not too much--they always act hungry, but the amount should be increased gradually. Fortiflora or Proviable to improve bacteria will help too--the yogurt has the bacteria but can upset a puppy's tummy as it is dairy and also something new.

Not Fortiflora; it's a Purina product that contains some very, very bad "flavoring" ingredients.

good point--I like Proviable better.

Pumpkin. Pure pumpkin, not pie filling. 1 tablespoon a day. Anytime Echo goes through a large change (we move, etc) I give him a tablespoon for a few days, fixes him right up!

Since she is a puppy... I would get her checked out by your vet just to be sure there isn't anything like Giardia going on. If not.... Pure pumpkin and Proviable DC are the go to solutions in our house for soft stool issues :)

My puppy ingested tapeworm eggs two weeks after I got him (all clear now). I'd take her to the vet-- it could be anything and it also could be just a change in diet. Better to be safe than sorry.

Sweet potato is also an option if that doesn't work.

I know not all will agree with me, but when it gets that bad, you can give her rice with boiled, rinsed hamburger (get the fat off of it) for several days--it always works and I have found it works better than chicken and rice. You need to give her GI tract a rest with bland food so it can heal.
