We were able to see the puppies today, now comes the hard part.  Making a decision!  We have narrowed it down to two puppies.  They both have a wavy fleece coat.  The boy is in the top picture and the girl is the second one.  The breeder said the boy is a bit more chill but personality wise they are both pretty close.  I know we will be happy with either, just thought we would do a poll and get your votes :)

Also, need advice on names.  Our family loves certain movies, hence the choices.  For a girl, Padme (Star Wars), boy name will be Legolas (Lego for short - Lord of the Rings) or Albus (Al for short - Harry Potter).  So, add a vote for the name as well.  Join the fun and vote, maybe it will help us decide ;)

They are both very sweet looking puppies.  I wish the little boy's whole face was showing.  How old are they?  I am partial to boys and have two (Charlie Brown and Beauregard (Beau).  I love the name Albus, but think Legolas or Lego is easier to say for training purposes.  Looking forward to seeing which one you bring home!

They are six weeks old. I wish I had a shot of the boys face as well. I think I was enjoying the moment too much of being surrounded by adorable puppies to take enough pictures!

They are both adorable! I love the markings of the girl.
My puppy is a girl and I was always told there is no difference. She is a lot more headstrong than my first one, though. And my puppy trainer said that girls are always stronger than the boys.
Since she is my first girl dog I don't know if that's true. Nimbus is definitely more laid back and always has been. Having said that, she is great and we love her to pieces.

Our Callie picked us. We had the second pick of 6 girls. One by one we narrowed it down. Two were left and she stayed right there with us while her sister went behind the couch. They even pulled her sister back out and she ran again away from us as Callie stayed. I always say she picked us. And I am so happy she did! They both are adorable!!!

I love Padma and Al. Sweet puppies. I usually pick by personality.  I like how in the picture the boy is making good eye contact.  That being said we usually choose girls.  I would see how they interact with you and let them choose.  Either or look like great doodles.

The breeder had two in mind for us too. They were both equally the personality we wanted but Leo was more relaxed or chill like you said. He picked us right way. Times of excitement and then he would relax and let the boys pet him. We just knew. The pictures are so cute of your puppies. I love how the boy is looking up at you\person. I didn't go by boy or girl but the best fit.

This is my opinion...if you never had a dog or a puppy before then you should get a girl b/c it's easy to train a girl then a boy. Again, this is my opinion. Good luck!!!!

I love the name Albus so cute. Both puppies are adorable, I had always had girl dogs until Hunter personally he also picked us and I am so glad he did. He is a great puppy and we love him so much.....he is a little bit stubborn but I really don't think there is much difference between gender. Whatever one you and your family choose will be perfect.....congratulations.
