Silly boy thinks he's a lap dog. Little does he know he will be between 75-85 pounds in the near future.

He's super cute! Ours is not heavy, but all gangly legs.  

But he does think he is a lap dog at over a year.  He sees his 13lb sister fit just fine... so why not him?

Ours are 70# and 50#, the biggest gets up beside me and lays her chest and head over my lap, the smaller climbs up beside (sometimes on top of) her and then lays across the big one, kind of a domino look to it.  I think they are ALL lap dogs.  Yours is a little cutie.
