Well, one that doesn't shed anyway....
All I can say after watching this video is WOW!!

I had Samoyeds growing up and when we brushed each one, we filled a large paper grocery bag, however I do not remember that they shed at all.
Ugh, I love you Ginny, but honestly, so many many many doodles SHED! :So, NO, this might be the worst reason to get a doodle.
So many get placed in shelters with the MYTH, they do not shed. Video looks so familiar and it looks like Spud when I groom him. I know you were just trying to post a cute video but I want to make it clear to those who are new and think this is true
Here is a DK Group-Doodles Who Shed. Just look at the membership

Oh, yeah--I did say at the top "one that doesn't shed anyway"--it was a disclaimer!! Since I know at least 100 doodles and groom about 20 of all shapes, sizes and coat types, I am well aware that some of them shed like crazy!! But thanks for making that clear Joanne--I love you too!! :)
:) Now back to the fun video.
Brings back memories! My dog growing up was a Samoyed! : ) That is one very patient Samoyed!
What a patient dog! I love how the day slowly turns into night and the pile of fluff grows and grows...
I noticed that too. It made me laugh.
I wonder how long that takes in real time? Looks like quite a chore!
The video is a jaw dropper for sure. I, like many others on here, have a doodle that sheds way more than you can imagine. We deal with it because we have to in order to keep that love bug part of our family...we tell visitors that she loves them so much she is sending a part of her home with them. Seriously? We actually keep tape rollers all over the house and car to take care of it. My sister just passed away and has the most awesome, sweet dog. I wanted to bring her home with me but she sheds at least as much (maybe more) than my dog does and I know we can not take on that much more. Because of the shedding we still have not been able to place her in a permanent home and really, you have to be upfront about that shedding thing in order to keep her from ending up in a shelter later.
Judy--I am so sorry about your sister...I hope you can find a good home for the pooch.
