Oh Otis, he's so sweet. Ruby doesn't get under things where we can't find her--but we keep her in the dining room and kitchen where she can't hide under anything. I wonder why he does it?
Myla doesn't hide like that but she does hide her head when she's sleeping - at night, she'll sleep with her head under our bed (the rest of her is on her dog bed) and when we're camping in our RV she has her head under the chair (which has flaps that reach the floor). When she's on the couch with us, she has her head in our laps, but when we stop petting her, she puts her head under the throw pillow! I love your picture of Otis - is he actually on the bottom shelf of the coffee table?
Otis is too cute. He looks snug as a bug in a rug...or coffee table?! :-) My girls LOVED to be under things as puppies. The favorite of both was under the ottoman near my feet. Eloise would sleep under the couch, chairs, and her other favorite was under a bed. Beasley found her hangout spot under the coffee table within the first few minutes of being home, lol. I think she figured out that was a way to hide from the giant (full-grown) goldendoodle! Mine were so light that they never blended in (but I did have to lift the bedskirt quite often to find Ellie, ha). Now they're both too big to be under anything.
That is cute, I think with a bit of direction and training you may be able to never have to dust again.
That's so funny! Orwell the Swiffer puppy : )
Alma loves to crawl under our coffee table and she falls asleep there while we watch TV in our family room. The table has a rattan bottom that is slightly elevated off the floor. We think she likes it because it's cooler than the carpet or sofa. It fits her perfectly once she crawls onto it.
My husband bought this table way before we were married. It has to be at least 30 years old. I think it's absolutely ugly! It has fake, wood grain and a plastic, gold band. We joke that we can't get rid of it because it's Alma's favorite place. As much as I would love to get something to replace it, I just can't do it.
