Bonnie has gone 30 days (and 31 nights) without an accident in the house!

Clever girl.

I do have to say though, it is summer here and the door to the garden is open most of the day. This makes life much easier as she can take herself out, although I do still suggest a trip up the garden every couple of hours, or when she wakes from a nap. If the door is shut she stands by it silently, unless desperate when she will whine.

At night she is in a large crate, big enough for a bed at one end and newspaper at the other. She has never used the paper though.

Yaaaaaay Bonnie! And of course, congrats to MOM too!

Good for you and her.  After almost 60 years of having dogs I always try to get a dog in spring or early summer in hopes they're trained when it gets cold.  I still have one dog that doesn't want to go out if it's cold.

Congrats! We had a 30 day pee free month and then one day 5 1/2 month old Dewey got a little too excited with his blankie and the next thing I knew, he peed on our rug. Never say never. I had just taken him out too! Time to neuter!

Congratulations to Bonnie, and you! It's a great milestone.

Hooray Bonnie! Good girl! Nice job Katie!

Congratulations! Wahoo!

We've been thrilled with training our puppy during a Colorado winter--she goes out, does her business and comes back into her crate. As I've written before, no accidents ever. Kind of trained herself.

Now if she could train herself not to put every single piece of bark, tiny twig, leaf, you name it--into the mouth like a furry little vacuum. Good thing we lover her so much.

Congrats!!  Great job!  Big doodle hugs to your clever girl !

That's awesome!

Hooray!

It's really quite exciting, obviously we are not relaxing yet, but she has a bit more freedom, in that she is not crated or tied to me or watched every minute of every day!

Yesterday I left her sleeping sweetly in the living room whilst I went and did chores elsewhere for half an hour, and she was fine. Her reward for achieving the thirty days is a lovely new bed. We had put it by my chair and she loves it. She will still go in the crate when I go out and at night, but she can nap on her bed when I am pottering around.

Katie and Bonnie.
