Phantoms are such great dogs. Groucho Too had the most amazing coat, very easy care.

I just noticed Ruff's photo.  An F1b phantom doodle!  I had one of those.  Groucho Too passed over the bridge in February.  He was a great dog.  Take a look at my photos if you want to see my phantom doodle.

What do you mean by Huge?  I think first generation mixes tend to be larger.  My Hondo (first gen. labradoodle) was 105 pounds and the most loving dog I have ever known.   You can see some photos of him on my page.

Isn't Christchurch the place that the scientist from the south pole (Antarctica) landed on her trip back for some medical treatment.  I had no idea that it was an 8-hr. flight.  How scary.  But sounds like she is doing okay.

Yes, my phantom goldendoodle is 30 inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds.  He is such a lover.  His father is a phantom poodle and his mother a goldendoodle.  Therefore, he is 3/4 poodle.  We did start with poodles, and went to doodles about 8 years ago when our shepherd died and the poodle was distraught.  He needed a puppy and I saw labradoodles and thought that was the dog for me.  We have had three doodles now (labradoodle, goldendoodle, and now ALD).  We went to the ALD because of the size.  He is about 40 pounds and much shorter than the other two were.  I think he is more the size of your labradoodle.  They are such great dogs.

What a beautiful phantom labradoodle!  I also have a phantom, but I think he is a little larger than yours. Also very funny that we had a miniature poodle named Barney who is also at the rainbow bridge.  After Barney, we had one other poodle, and then we were introduced to labradoodles.  Doodles are the way to go!

Wanna be friends.  Oh, by the way, welcome to DoodleKisses.  You will really enjoy it here.  Hope we have a lot of contact.
