I finally took some new pics of Otis (I'm terrible about cameras).

Pic 1: my 4 year old insists on tucking Otis into bed. She'd sleep in his kennel if I let her. I couldn't resist the two "baby butts" pic. :)

Pics 2&3: Otis last night on the patio. :)

Question: do you think I need to cut the hair around his eyes? I can't tell if it's too long already and impairing his vision, or if it's ok still? Sorry if that's a stupid question!

What cute rears! Otis is adorable. I cut hair around the eyes so that I can see the eyes better in between groomings.

Sweetness! Yes you can trim his eyes. Use blunt nose scissors and cut in a triangle pointing into the bridge of his nose.

He is so very cute!  I keep the hair around Chance's eyes trimmed with shot, blunt edge scissors.

I embedded your pics.  'Baby butts' is just a precious picture! I don't think you HAVE to trim yet, but if Otis will hold still, you could trim those few strands from the center that are getting a bit long. Just cut them shorter - no fancy stuff needed. I use blunt-tipped nail scissors.

Adorable! We trim around Ruby's eye every week or so. My technique is still developing but I'm hoping it will improve. I use a blunt-edged scissors and a little comb to hold out the part I want to cut.

Otis, you are such a little cutie!!  I trim around my girls' eyes too - in fact, I need to do Beasley's today because her "windshield wipers" (as I call them, lol) are getting in the way of her eyes.

Thank you everyone for your advice and for re-affirming what I've been thinking (that Otis is soooo cute! Lol).
Admittedly, I am nervous to cut around his eyes.... But I'm going to give it my best shot!
