Doodle Romp near Sacramento

Hi all and Happy New Year!  I have a 5 month old Golden Doodle who loves to play with other dogs, and I would love to get other doodles together for a romp somewhere between Sacramento and Folsom.  If you are interested, please respond with any information you may have on locations of previous doodle romps in your area.

that sounds like fun, I have never taken Bailey to a romp, but would love to join this one. I don't know of any places offhand but I am sure others on this board will.

Our doodle Murphy is 5 and loves to play with other dogs. We would love a doodle romp, we live in fair oaks and we don't have a specific place we go but maybe at lake natoma near the csus aquatic center. Or Fair Oaks park. Let me know what you think. Thanks Jeanne Oslund

There is a great dog park in Davis and the town is very dog friendly with lots of places to bring dogs while having lunch. I live in Vacaville so Davis is an easy drive for me. If interested we can plan a date and I can help organize.

It's been a while since I checked this group so sorry for the late response. Jeanne I like the idea of Fair Oaks park since it is so close to Folsom. I have been to the Davis park also, but was hoping to stay a little closer to Folsom. I take my 6 month old Goldendoodle, Ginger to the Folsom dog park and she has a ball running, chasing and playing with other dogs.

Let's discuss location and date so we can get something on the calendar. I'm thinking a Saturday or Sunday in March. Please let me know what you think and we can go from there.

Lambchop, my goldendoodle puppy, will have all of her shots in the next 5 weeks and loves playing with my friends' dogs. Is there another doodle romp planned for the Sac area?

I have finally decided on a date and location for our first Doodle Romp.  It will be at Folsom Dog Park on Oak Avenue Parkway & Creekside on Saturday, Sept. 19th.  I think 10:00am would be perfect for those of you who live out of town to get here.  This is my first Doodle Romp so I'm just hoping we get enough interest to continue to meet up periodically, maybe at different dog parks so none has to drive real far everytime.

Please let me know if you can make this first one, and give me any ideas that might make it more fun!

I'm sorry you will not be able to come to our first Doodle Romp for the Sacramento and surrounding area. I had to make a decision on the date based on my schedule. Maybe you or someone else can schedule the next one to accommodate your schedule. At least we are talking about it now, so everyone who is interested can participate eventually.
