Ladies & Gentlemen, Doods and...Doods,
Meet Henly!
What a crazy thing to have to do - pick ONE puppy from all that cuteness! Back when we put in our deposit in in early November, we said we wanted a male pup. There were only 2 males born in the litter. The male pup that I had had my eye on after seeing 4 1/2 weeks worth of pics was a parti pup. The breeder predicts that this male pup will get to be around 75 lbs. Uh oh, he was going to be too big for us. He was unfortunately disqualified and taken from the room. The breeder kept one of the pups and that pup wasn't even in the room. So it was now down to 5 pups. The female parti pup, while adorable, was HIGH energy. Down to 4. There was a little snuggle-muffin who barely left my leg but I was afraid she might be clingy...but what a love muffin. She was the lightest color of the pups - a straight milk chocolate coat. Down to 3. After playing with them, and holding them and pretending I even knew what I was doing, I chose pink collar girl and named her Henly. She has a beautiful coat (although I know it will change), the breeder seemed to think she will stay wavy. I also like the shape of her head in comparison. It's more of a block-y head. She hung out with me and then trotted off and played with her littermates and then came back. I thought she seemed a little more independent. What in the world can you really tell at this young age!!! Well, we shall see!!
I am over the moon!!! My husband is traveling so next Saturday we'll go down together and he can meet Henly. I can't wait to see her again!!
A crazy doodle mother.

So sweet. Congrats!
Henly is adorable!! When do you get to bring her home? I remember counting the days like little kids count the days until Christmas. :-)
She will be perfect for you because you will care for her and therefore love her. All puppies are just too cute!!
