HOW DO YOU GET YOUR PHOTO INTO THE SHOW?

Good question! Spud's mom, Joanne, put together a great visual tutorial here: Slideshow HowTo

If you like visuals, use her tutorial.  Otherwise, try the instructions below...

1-- Upload your photo the main photo page.

2-- In the 'tag' section of the photo put in the tag that corresponds with the slide show theme (see list above).

It's quite easy, actually.  If you prefer to submit photos via your smart phone, be sure you put in the correct email address.  The email address should have "ning" somewhere in it.  If not, it won't make it here.

let me go look and see, Did you by chance use any capitol letters in your tag?  That is the most common error and one we have all done but that is the most important.   You have to be exact with your characters or else the searcher can not find them. 

We also have to have them in by Wednesday as the slideshow changes on Thursday

Helga, I can't see, because I am on an IPad, but I know there is only room for 100 pics. So, if there are at least that, then your babies cannot be added.

I see 75 in slide show and 76 tagged flying15.

Well then the 76th did not get then in on time would be my assumption.  I've done that too.

Speaking of this limitation.  Right now I have not limited the number of photos anyone can submit.  But if we ever start getting into the 100+ range of submissions I will start limiting it to one per person.  When I make the slide show the photos are very small thumbnails (kind of like profile photos in discussions).  I can't always tell which dog is which or if a dog has been repeated unless the photos are very similar.

As far as I know I tagged them way ahead of time. As well as the ones for the next slide show *or the one after that, I don't remember )I am pretty confident that I tagged them right.

The top of every page on the internet has a link.  For example look at the top of your browser on this page and you'll see: www.doodlekisses.com/forum/topics/a bunch of other words, letters, numbers.  At the top of the page your photos are on there is also a web address or URL.  Copy that.  Paste it here.
