Some time back I posted this video of Polly Wollly Doodle making her Coolaroo bed and interactive toy, she will entertain herself for hours if we quit tossing the balls for her.  She is ball obsessed and the minute something rolls it becomes hers.

We recently bought the Waggle balls they show on television (well worth the cost) and not Polly has changed the way she plays with her bed...you can see how she hoards the balls as well.  She does this same pounce and play with balls in the yard.  Meg wants you to throw them so she can catch and bring them back, once Polly gets them she entertains herself.

What a clever girl your Polly is to be able to entertain herself like that!

Too funny! And gives you a break! She is a cutie-pie. I have those cots and my dogs won't even go  on them!

That's great. I'm afraid Luca would just overturn a bed like that to get to a ball.

Polly actually dives under this bed to get smaller balls and just her butt and tail are sticking out, she scoots in and out real quick and I have not been able to get a shot of that yet.  Meg is bigger and refuses to try to go into any tight spot for a ball, Polly goes but then doesn't share it.

Oh how Wonderful.  Spud likes to ' thump' or dribble his balls too.  We had one of these beds but it went to waste and we gave it away. The canvas was not as pliable either.

But.... the next time I see one of those exercise trampolines, I just might pick one up because this video makes me happy.

I had to share this one to a few other friends

That canvas does not start out that pliable, Polly wears it down.  This is actually the second cover we have had on that bed.  Both girls will take naps on it but Polly does double duty as a toy.

that is hysterical !  I love how Polly pounces on the ball, even when it is under the bed! : )

Very fun video.

I have that same dog bed at work and don't think it's a good match for my dog. My Georgia is a strange and finnicky dog. It took her quite a while to feel comfortable getting on a surface that didn't seem stable. The other pup at the office at the time (who was heavier than her) was on and off it instantly like it was no big deal. It's been 8 months and she will rest on it, but prefers to rest under it. She's about 50 lbs and there is about 6 inches clearance so it is pretty amazing that she will crawl under there.

Yet once she's crawled under she can't figure out how to get out. Having that bed you well know it weighs about 1 lb and can be flipped and discarded with no effort. But she lays under there and whines until I lift it and let her out.  My friend (and Georgia's favorite human) came to visit the office and witnessed her supposed trap under the cooleroo bed in person. It's quite embarrassing to see her struggle and whine and not figure it out. He said "she got the sweet genes and the cute genes, maybe in her next life she will get the smart genes."

Nancy, LOL

That picture made me laugh out loud, I can't get enough of these doodle personalites.

Nancy, ROTFL

Hilarious, Nancy! That sounds  like something Winnie would do. She will squeeze into all sorts of situations, but put her in a room with a door propped open 12 inches, and she is "trapped." :-)
