What coat will THIS puppy have?

I read the post about the woman who is waiting for her goldendoodle, and I had one that looked lots like hers and was fleecy as an adult. This time, in 9 days, I am getting a medium sized chocolate double doodle, and also am on pins and needles wondering about his coat. I would also like feedback if possible, based on his most receint photos. He seems lots curlier than my last doodle.nt photos.

Oh my is he cute! I would guess wavy, but I could be totally wrong! Either way he is so cute!

Thanks Jessica. It looks like you also have a chocolate doodle, so we are in the same club. These last 9 days are tough, but soon I will have darling Enzo in my arms. Calculations say he will be between 30 and 35 lbs when full grown. I can hardly wait!

Loki is mostly black but he has his share of brown mixed in, he had similar waves when he was younger though!

I think he might end up pretty curly.  He certainly looks soft and silky right now.

Thank you. I think so too, but I am not sure if that is just wishful thinking. My last doodle was looked straighter than this one and she was pretty darn curly as an adult. I lost her to cancer early this year after a six month long illness, and one surgery,  she was only just 7 and the loss was more than I imagined I could endure. Now this little one is teaching me how much love my heart can actually hold (lots). I think he will be curly, and very much his own little man. Thank goodness it is possible to hold and love another, curly doodle.

I think he's going to be pretty curly…may be a combination --soft curly and wavy fleece.  For sure, he's adorable!

The new doodle family member we finally get to pick up tomorrow is similar to yours and the breeder told us she was going to be between the 2 we have now. Molly has a looser curl or wave and Bailee is tighter. If you go to my page you will be able to see their pictures. Hope this helps a little. Your puppy is adorable.

Adorable! I might actually think that this guy will have a combination coat--curlier around the head and wavier on the body--but at this age, that is just a guess. Cute for sure!! Good luck!

Very cute!  Love the puppy phase….not the teething.

My guess would be very light curly to wavy….same as Milo.  Be prepared for changing coat colours.
