Changing profile photo

Hopefully, someone can help me. I've been trying (unsuccessfully) for some time to change my profile picture but have been unable to.  I've gone through past discussions and tried everything suggested, but nothing works.  The picture I'd like to use is saved to my computer as JPG and I have no problem viewing it - I just get an error message whenI try to upload it.  Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hi, go to my page at the top on left. When your page comes up click on settings far right. You'll see profile picture with edit.

Hi, Alee.  That's what I've been doing and I keep getting this error:  "There was an error uploading your photo: Please try again. If you keep seeing this error, try another photo".  Very frustrating!  Thanks for trying!!

Settings on the far right? I don't see that at all. I just go to my current profile photo and click where it says "change photo". Every time  I try to choose the file, it acts like its loading and then...nothing. I am using a desktop computer so that shouldn't be an issue. I have changed it a few times before.

It is working for me as I just changed my profile pic. I don't know what else to tell you. Keep try I guess.

Check to see if your picture is too big.  The max is 10 mb - sometimes mine are too large. I can give you some advice on how you can change the size, but my way is more complicated than those that know how to simply re-size on their computer, simply because I don't know how to re-size on the computer other than cropping.  Sometimes there is simply a glitch in the program and what won't work at one time, works a another.   I just changed my profile photo and it worked, so no glitch at this moment.

Hi, Nancy.  The photo is only 120 kb, so size shouldn't be an issue.  I'm having my daughter e-mail some additional photos she has of all three dogs and I'll see if I can upload one of those.  Of course, the one I can't upload is my favorite.  Thanks for trying!

See if it will upload here and you will at least know it will upload.  Click on the second icon - looks like a picture with a frame.

My picture is only 3.8 mb. I just wonder if maybe there is too much in the photo? I just don't get it.
