Today's the day!! FINALLY :) In just a few short hours we will have our little furbaby home :) We got her two kong chew toys, one red and one black, and I was just wondering what your doodles like you to fill them with??? I'm really regretting not getting the Kong filling paste cause now I have no clue at all what to put it in for her! Help :/

Exciting! I suggest peanut butter for the kongs. No need to buy the filling paste. I would always use natural peanut butter, nothing with added sugar or reduced fat or anything like that. :)
Don't change anything in the puppy's diet for at least two weeks and I don't believe the Kong treats are on our recommended list so no worries about not having any of their paste stuff. Peanut butter mixed with plain greek yogurt and a little kibble and frozen inside the Kong is one of our favorite recipes for when the time comes, though!
I will second the idea of plain greek yogurt frozen in the kong. It is still my 16 month old dog's bedtime snack.
I wouldn't do anything for two weeks to make sure that if there are any digestion problems, you haven't created them with foods/treats she isn't used to.
at first we only used the food he was on. I agree with other posters, you want to ease into the 'new' treats as it can upset their tummies.
I, still at 2 years of age, fill the kong with his kibble and put a small broken piece of milk bone treat on the top.
I have seen on Pinterest, you can wet the kibble and freeze it the night before.
Is your pup a large one? She may not be able to get the red or black one in her mouth. We are a mini dood and started with the blue puppy kong. It allowed him to be able to crunch it to get the treats out.
congrats on your new baby!!
