Hey all!

I remember seeing that a couple people on here used "the Stuff" so I went a head and ordered some on Amazon and saw people were using it differently. Some were spraying it directly on their dogs post bath and others were diluting it in water and then for lack of a better word "dumping" it on their dogs post bath before toweling. Which way do you guys use it? It comes in a spray bottle so I guess I just assumed that's how you should use it but several people were following the "groomers tip" posted on Amazon and diluting and rinsing (that sounds much better than dumping) their dogs in it.

I also ordered some cowboy magic shampoo and the shine and detangler conditioner- any hints for that? Or any tips, the reviews seem to say that a little goes a long way.

Thanks all!

Yeah that makes sense, hopefully it works great for the boys, I need a good staple to add to their grooming box.

And yes, I'm so excited for the brush! It shipped today so hopefully it's here soon! I figure it's a lot of money but if it's worth it than great! I'm currently using a regular slicker brush and the furminator brush that looks similar to the ActiVet brush but it's so flimsy! It works fine for Moose and getting him used to brushing but there's no way I could even try to get it through Loki's coat so I guess I at least I got something out of it. Loki's coat is so crazy think and it was really hard breaking up the mats when he was changing coats so I'm hoping this brush makes it easier for dealing with Moose's coat. :)

The Furminator slicker is what I started with too. The Activet is a whole new world of brushing compared to that one!

I love this brush! Completely worth the money! The red mat zapper side is the one that I notice the most difference in!
We agree with Nancy, Ned and Clancy, the Cowboy Magic stuff works well, use according to directios but, very, very slippery. We noticed it right away, as, our dood lies on the front tile landing, my husband went to answer the door, slipped and almost went through the nearby window!

This was months ago and part of his one hand is still messed up!

We went back to our groomer. We found that if we keep her clipped shorter and brush her regularly, mats are kept to a minumum. Also, a good food keeps her soft and shiny!
