Louie too...he walks away and drips!! Not sure it would help that part but I was thinking using it outside as a water station when they're out on the porch in the summer. Louie loves to pick up his water bowl and walk away with it dumping it along the way!!! I'm pretty sure he'd have a hard time with this....

After I got to thinking, Vern walks all over the house dripping water. Unless that feeder comes with a guy that runs behind him with a towel, I don't think it will make that big of a difference for Vern.

I am so grateful to know that Max isn't the only water dripper! All day long I follow him with a towel as he walks from room to room, dripping puddles everywhere. I love him to pieces, and compare it to a messy toddler in the house, but it sure would be nice to find a large bottle feeder on a sturdy stand instead of having a whole bowl being compromised and refilled 10-15 times a day! I may just have to enlist my very creative neighbor on this invention!! Until then........Have dishtowel, Will travel!!

Darwin is a champion water dripper. We try to keep a towel nearby but if we don't have one, We will get a lap full of beard water. Thank heavens that with his short haircut, we have relief!

I have the one for a small dog but I paid $40 for it and it was worth that!  I love not having the mess under the food dishes nor worrying about kicking it.  Even Rua drips from her dainty little beard...this doesn't stop that.  From what I have read, the Large Dog is not for LARGE dogs, as it doesn't hold that much food or water.  You have to look at how many cups they hold compared to what you use now.  If your dog can empty the bowel in one sitting, it probably is going to be a pain because you are going to have to watch and refill often.

I have 2 small ones for the cats. really need another one for the new kitten and one for Cooper.... wonder if they ship to Canada?

 

EDIT oh im so disappointed they are sold out of the large. Theres no point me ordering the small kitty one as i get 30% discount through work (pet store) so it wouldnt work out any cheaper once you factor in shipping.
