Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Since Adina started a discussion about "look who is in my bed." I thought that I would add the following along with a picture (See the file below).

My DW, like Adina, values her space in our bed for sleep and comfort. So, Wynnie sleeps in her crate in our bedroom each night. But, each morning when the alarm goes off, Wynnie leaves her crate and jumps up on our bed to snuggle and get a good rub down. There is a lot of tail wagging, licks of our hands and rubbing her face on our quilt. My DW and I wake up each morning, laughing and commenting on what a wonderful fur kid that we have. When we get up, Wynnie jumps out of bed and does her yoga routine and then heads downstairs to to be let outside.

After following all the comments on Adina's post, I would say that I prefer that Wynnie only stays on the quilt and not on our sheets. Our girl does not shed, does not roll when she is outside and thus is very clean. Every one has their preferences but I can tell you that if a nap is needed, Wynnie is happy to oblige and snuggle up on the quilt by my side.

As can be seen in this note, we love our doodle and strongly believe that this is the best breed ever.

Cute picture.  I melt every time my girls look at me.

Yes, our girl is irresistible when she looks at us and wants to play. My DW has a screen saver that says, "Wynnie thinks she runs this place." But, the longer this journey goes on, I am starting to believe that she does run the house. They are just so much fun. I also believe that this site has been very helpful in our training of Wynnie and in keeping her healthy.

That's really sweet :-)
She's 1/3 the size of Rosco!  My next dog will be more Wynnie's size I think.  I might be able to manage a Wynnie sized foot warmer ;-)

Adina, your comment about "a Wynnie sized foot warmer" brought a smile to my face and I am sure to others. :-)

My DH and I sleep with Roo and Tigger who are both over fifty pounds.  I get in bed last usually and must fit in the space that is left.  But your picture of Wynnie says it all.  She is so darn cute.  Who couldn't love these dogs.  I put a "dog" sheet over the blankets because it can be changed easily during the week and always use a quilt for show, because they get on the bed during the day and quilts wash easily and hide the dirt. Dog feet warmers and dogs snug up against your back make a little extra laundry and a little less room a more than a fair price to pay.

Oh boy, Picco has me trained!  Our routine is the opposite. Picco doesn't get on the bed (or furniture) except on rare occasions, so first thing in the morning, I'm down on the floor cuddling up to him!  His tail start wagging first thing, then we do our morning stretching together!  It's a great way to start out the day

How sweet! It truly is the best wake up!!

OMG! Adina looks just like my Ginger, who loves to come wake us up about 3:am most mornings.  She so cute, we can't be mad at her.  Besides, not everyone get Doodle Love first thing in the morning.

Winnie is so darn cute. She looks like she could melt your heart.
I know we truly value our snuggle time in the morning. Maci spends the night on the bed with
us, while Yogi usually joins us early in the morning.
Thanks, Leslie. Yes, Wynnie melts my heart a hundred times a day. She is a wonderful puppy (she will always be a puppy to me) who brightens our day. It is truly wonderful to read the love people have on this site for their doodles.
