Orvis Deep Dish Dog Bed

Hi everyone!  I was thinking of ordering Cooper a dog bed from Orvis.com.  It's the "Deep Dish Dog Bed" with memory foam.  I was wondering if any of your doodle has this bed and if he/she likes it.  It has very good reviews.  I bought Cooper a rectangular bed from PetSmart.  He doesn't sleep on it but uses it as a pillow while he is laying on the wood floor.  I thought if I get him the deep dish bed, he can use the side as a pillow.  Thanks in advance for any input!

Yikes! LOL. Maybe there might be a clip on that in the future. Will look out for it. Lol

Penny doesn't use our dog beds...she prefers furniture. LOL! Our other two dogs always lay in them (during the winter). I would imagine they are super comfortable because of the memory foam. We have a smaller bed for our beagle and a big one (like in this photo) for our Lab. We don't have this exact bed because ours has 4 sides and the dogs have to step into them. Since our shedding dogs use the beds, there's tons of hair on them which I am forever trying to remove. Also they get dirty and I don't think they are machine washable (which is the only negative I can think of).

Thanks for sharing Sally. Maybe Cooper might prefer the furniture too if we let him :P. Since Cooper is always dragging dirt on his coat, I need the washable feature because I know he'll get the bed dirty quite often! ordered the bed already and just waiting for it to be shipped! We'll see if he likes it or not.

Jack is a heavy shedder, and also needs his bedding washed quite often because he has seasonal allergies. I keep a small comforter over the bed which makes it much easier for washing, and the bed itself stays cleaner.

We have the Orvis Lounger Deep Dish Dog Bed.  Love it!  I mean the dog loves it.

Yep, it inspired me to finally order one each for my boys. Had been putting it off because of potential shipping and duty fees for getting it across the border.

Just got the Orvis bed today! I put a sheet over it for Cooper to try it out and he walked right up to it and slept on it! He's not feeling too well today, had diarrhea last night and this afternoon. Not sure why but that's for another post. Anyways, I was surprisingly happy that he used it right away! :D. It's also very warm today in Southern CA 90 degrees :( so putting the sheet over it makes it feel cooler. The material seems like the warm type.

Here's a picture of him on it...can't see the bed cus it's covered up so I'll have to take another one next time. Lol

Aw, he looks so cute cuddled up there! I'm so glad he loves it. Looks like the perfect size for him, too.

And that's exactly how I tuck the comforter around Jack's bed!

I hope he's feeling better soon.
