Raise your hand if you think you'd come to a Doodle Romp in Walla Walla

I've been looking at hosting a Doodle Romp in Walla Walla since sometime last year.  Original discussion here was getting too complicated, but feel free to read through for history.

I would like to see who would come if the doodle romp date is June 23/24 -- this is a Thur/Fri so those who want to stay for the weekend are welcome to do so.  And the only planned "event" will be some planned dog park time as a group and perhaps impromptu "Let's go for a walk here!"

Please raise your hand by posting your interest level ONLY IF you think you can make it.

I only want a YES/Maybe count for a doodle romp set for June 23/24 -- it will likely be warm (mid to high 80s with historical high as high as 100-something) but you never know.

I will change my reservations to Wed - Friday. At this time we will be attending the doodle romp- Kurt, myself and Brodie!

I wouldn't reserve anything just yet.  But I think it should work pretty well to make it work.

I made reservations at the Marcus Whitman Hotel because they only have a few rooms that are pet friendly. I felt it was better to make the reservations early because we can cancel up to 48 hours before. Also the rates are cheaper during the week then on the weekend. Thanks for all your planning!

Toni ~ if you have never stayed at the Marcus you are in for a treat.  Whenever we do a wine touring weekend we stay there and their food and service is outstanding.

We are in Riverside, Margaret, and its a bit over 1,000 miles - would be a bit longer for you.  We are incorporating a vacation into the trip.

This may sound hard to believe, but I just spoke with (what I assume is a central reservation desk), and the La Quinta Hotel is "closed for the season".  The woman didn't know what the season was (lol!), but it will be closed in June......

Well that's no good.  They are supposed to be moving to a new location so I wonder if that is what the closing is about...hmmm.
