Well, I made it under the deadline. How about water in all it's guises from one drop to the ocean. Doodles and water. Rain. Or anything at all. It is summer and we can be carefree. wishing everyone a happy Canada Day, Happy Independence Day and a lovely month.

I am flat out jealous.  I so wish I had taken this fabulous picture. The  way you shot this really showed the architecture of the bridge that one might not notice if it was day time.  Wow!

If this is the bridge I am thinking of, the two cities could not agree on the type of bridge they wanted, so each built their own style halfway across...

Thanks, Richard.  I'm not sure if this is the same bridge because the style seems consistent.  It is considered the ugly duckling of bay area bridges but is quite an engineering feat.

A farmer planted a large field of sunflowers near me this year.  Don't know what he is doing with them but I will enjoy riding by watching them and hope to find songbirds enjoying the seeds when they mature.

My giant sunflower(s) of which I can't get a good shot from the front until our corn is finished and Otis tills it into the garden.  More visitors.

Wow - that's a LOT of sunflowers! Maybe he plans to sell the sunflower seeds. :)

Thank you Linda.  Perhaps he is raising them as a crop to sell.  Last year he had a much smaller field across the road from this one.  I will have to try to shoot this field again with a wider angle lens.  28mm doesn't do it justice.
