Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
If you would like critiques and/or help with editing of potential calendar shots post them here. Members often volunteer to help. Please post the original photo unedited if you want help. The helper will probably ask you to email the original photo. Before you ask for help on your photos read the Guidelines for the calendar and keep them in mind when taking photos and when posting here. Remember to take the best quality, ie large file size and highest resolution your camera can take.

An easy way to see if your photo meets the minimum calendar requirements is to use Jeffrey's exif viewer.
You can pop your photo's URL in the proper place and you will get lots of metadata including # of pixels. there is a ton of information but the number of pixels is what you need. Calendar pictures must be 2300 pixels wide by 1800 pixels high.

Congratulations, F. I am excited for you!
I agree with F.
If you shoot both, and go through your images and see one that you really like, just save only that RAW file.
FYI. Lightroom is really tremendous. I would start there vs photoshop. I use it for 95% of my work, and I'm a photoshop pro. What I like is that it makes looking at your files, editing them, doing minor corrections so fast. There is no opening and closing and saving of files. It easily saves me at least 75% of the time vs viewing them in bridge and editing in photoshop. There is a bit of learning curve for the file structure, but some great online classes. And so many youtube videos and google search results that can help when you are stuck. Okay I will stop now.
I did download a 7 day free trial but it wasn't nearly enough time to try and figure things out. I couldn't even find the brushes in PS. Winter is coming there will be a lot of indoor time and I'll have no excuse.
It seems to me the tools have been changed with one of their periodic updates. I had to search around and learn some new features. All good for the brain I guess.
Arg, I need to start using Lightroom! My workflow is SO tedious and slow right now. I'm editing through like 300 wedding photos and each image takes me 10-20 minutes. :-(
Wow, thank you DJ. This is kind of like last year, the shot that I wasn't considering until the last few days was the one chosen.
Often the way.
Donna, what a great shot and the edits - great too! It's a winner, I'll bet!
Gorgeous edit
