Saw this on Live with Kelly this morning. I don't know who Scott Wolf is but I LOVE him!

I see your concerns, Karen, but Scott has three kids, a big place in the country and they had owned a dog for 10 years or so that recently had to be put down--so I am not thinking that these folks don't know what they are getting into or are buying on impulse--I also find that there are quite a few doodles here in the Northeast (where I live and Scott Wolf lives) that are unsold at 7-8 weeks---we have a lot of doodle breeders ...and my breeder often has pups at the end due to someone having a family emergency, etc (Last litter had someone whose house flooded) and then there is a pup available--
I wouldn't say Bella was an "impulse buy", but lets just say that I wasn't planning on getting a doodle that day:) Like Ginny said, They've had a dog before, so even if it was an impulse buy....
Also, Bella's breeder is responsible and she had four puppies available when we went, and you didn't have to put a deposit. She interviewed us, so she knew that she was going to a good home. My preference: I don't really think that a responsible breeder has to except deposits in order to be "responsible". She doesn't advertise, except for her website which is mostly for her boarding business:) I am sorry if I am being annoying, but this is how I feel:)
We fell in love with doodles, visited a breeder within a few days where Ned charmed the socks off us, thought about it for a week, called the breeder and drove 250 miles to pick him up and add him to our dog family. With Clancy, Ned and I met him at a fund-raiser for our local pet adoption center. I posted him on dk, e-mailed everyone I knew and tried to generate some interest in him. Uh ...... that lasted about a week and we added him to our dog family - that made four dogs! Now with Charlie, the DRC set me up and we adopted him in about a day and a half! Talk about impulse!
With Katie I had been looking and thinking about it for a while. With Ava Grace, I had been trying to talk myself out of another dog for months. And I was doing pretty well, until I saw that Katie's mom needed a home. I think it took me about 5 minutes to decide that she needed to come live with us forever.
I am glad that you got her! She is adorable:)
HeHe:) It is hard not to get a doodle once you see one:)
I knew as soon as I saw her there was no turning back!! it took about 5 minutes to make the decision:)
Funny, I didn't even notice her there until I looked at the video after filming...Lol
I did send an "inbox" message for Scott to the show and told him to join Doodlekisses for the information and FUN! Who knows maybe he will!
