Snow in the city, and a comfortable warm nook in my hotel.  I've been on vacation in Iceland and returned late last night,  iPhone image.

I am sure that these are not what everyone expected. My photo club was allowed entrance into the San Diego Model Railroad Club Layout.  Therefore we could use tripods (which is normally forbidden).  The club even removed the Plexiglas barrier that normally separates the public from the layout so we did not need to shoot through the Plexiglas...

I was not really interested in shooting the trains, just the layout which was superb.  

Canon 7D Mark II, 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens, Aperture priority at f/16 to get maximum depth of field...  Available light.  I shot in RAW and adjusted the white balance in NIK Viveza.  I also used NIK Define for noise control and NIK RAW Image Presharpener...

As a kid who grew up in the 1950's, this was nostalgic for me...

About half of the layout was city and the other half was country...
