Hi all, I have learned so much from Doodle Kisses.  What a wonderful resource.  Meet Nellie.  She is a multi-gen double golden doodle, a mini.   She has a sweet, gentle personality and actually comes most of the time when we call her!  She is 6 months old and is getting spayed tomorrow.  Any last minute advice?

Her coloring is what made us drive across the state to get her after seeing her puppy picture online.  I have never seen another doodle that looks like her.  I don't know if her coat is abstract, merle, or brindle.  She doesn't fit any of those categories perfectly.  Sadly, I now believe I got her at a puppy mill.  The breeder didn't really answer many of my questions when we picked Nellie up, and now won't reply to an email, so I can't seem to get any more info about her lineage. They did tell us she was third generation double doodle.  Makes me so sad to think she came from a mill, but I am thankful to have Nellie.

Welcome! Yes Nellie definitely has unique coloring, but that makes her all the more precious.

I recommend a medical pet shirt instead of a cone if your vet sells them.  Riley was quite comfortable with hers.
