My Parris thinks it is her job to be a canine towel. She waits outside the shower every day in hopes of being able to be a dry my legs!!! What a silly doodle.

My doodles are both "stagers" or furniture arrangers. Our home floors are hardwood and the furniture is all on litttle sticky felt pads and a lot of it moves pretty easily... They both rearrange my furniture at least once daily. Then I put it back and they rearrange. Pretty comical really - especially to walk in the front door and see an end table up against the fireplace, two matching chairs in the hall and a footstool in the kitchen!

My large chair is always all the way across the room. I love it. Gives me something to talk to Fergie about.

I laughed so hard. What are they thinking as they are "arranging" the furniture?? I am just imagining this and cracking up.

Thomas also waits outside the shower and licks our legs! But then he grabs the towel we are using and takes off with it, not so cute in the freezing cold morning hours. I also wondered why our sofa was out of place-now I realize it must slide along the hardwood as he takes a running dive onto it when my son is sitting there.

My two doodles have taken on the job of making sure the cats don't scratch our furniture! When one of the cats begins to put her paws on a chair or sofa, the doodles go running and barking and chase the cat away. If they so much as hear a scratch from the other room, they go running in search of the naughty kitty! It's really quite a useful job that nobody taught them. Interestingly enough, our old dog, a wonderful mutt, would do the same thing! Has anyone else heard of this behavior?

Kensi makes it her "job" to collect any and all clothing that I leave on my bedroom floor. She picks it all up and brings it down stairs haha. She is also quite the guard dog, if she hears noises outside she makes sure to bark or growl to let them know "don't mess with us" :)
