Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

We have both a F1 and a F1b Goldendoodle but can't seem to find if there are any breeders doing Multi-gen Goldendoodles. I have seen F2's but that's about it. Has anyone out there ever come across a breeder - or a GD that is multi-gen?

I haven't personally seen one, but only a few breeders are actually attempting this so they are not as common. The Goldendoodle Association of North America is set up as a goldendoodle registry/database/club for those who want to go multigen (as well as early gen). So you may see more popping up!
Our Sadie is a Multi-gen, she is a 4th generation goldendoodle from Morningshine Meadows Doodles of Vermont. Judith Peadody is the breeder and last year she had 4 to 5 litters and I think at least 2 were multi-gens. I believe she has at least 1 multi-gen litter planned for this summer. In Sadies litter there were 3 phantoms, 4 cream/apricot and 5 chocolate pups. Check out Judith's website, doodlesofvermont. Best of Luck, Linda
I am confused about the F1, F1B etc thing. I assume my dog is an F1, his mom was a GR and his dad was a standard poodle. What makes up the F1B etc and what would the puppies of two GD's be called. I'd like to get another one and wondered what the difference was.
YES your doodle is an F1 = first generation mix.
B refers to "backcross" to a parent breed. Typically this is done to reduce shedding by breeding an F1 with a poodle for an F1b which is 3/4 poodle and 1/4 retriever (statistically it is...but any one puppy may still not actually be 3/4 poodle)
If you go to goldendoodles.com and click on FAQs goldendoodles, there is a sub-category "Generations". It explains the F1, F1B etc pretty well. If you scroll down they actually extend the labradoodle generation chart further out and it gets into multi-gens or "pure" generations.
I think www.doodleheaven.com might have a litter. They might be F2's or F2B's though. How many gens are you looking for? There is a site called Doodleworld...I think they do multi-gens, but I have no idea what kind of breeder they are or if they are a good kennel or puppymill so be careful! I just happen to stumble on the site one day, sorry I don't think there are that many out there......we may have to wait for Australian Goldendoodles! LOL!
do you mean goldendoodle world?
