Summer Cuts

unfortunately its come time for me to cut Charly's hair very very short for the summertime.. Houston Summers are HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!! i think we had about the last of the cool weather this past weekend. she gets very hot as it is, and summer hasn't even hit. so i was wondering if you guys can post some pics of short hair cuts your Doods have, so that i can get some ideas for my Charly Girl! I think she is basically gonna have to be shaved.. lol I think it will be cute to see all the different short haircuts all of the doods on doodle kisses have! :) thanks Guys!!

Giada is SOO cute-what a beauty-Love the name! I too have to get my dog Thomas groomed for the summer-which is still months away for us here in Toronto, but this will be the cut I'll ask for. I love how they trimmed her ears, but still left them full and floppy!!

They did a great job on his face. Still doodly and cute, but with a nice short look. Goes well with the shorter cut.

This is Steve right after a decent haircut. He's on the right. This was right after he was swimming in the pool so he is wet in this picture. We live in Orlando, FL and it is already in the mid 80's during the day. We told the groomer one inch all over without shaving his nose or rounding his head like a poodle. We get him cut all the way down like this every three or four months.

Gracie is an F1 GoldenDoodle and this hair cut was the first week in December. My groomer was out of town and I didn't know it so someone else did her. Thank goodness I told her to not cut much on the head/face and nothing on the tail. She looks just like a Poodle. I was shocked as to how skinny her legs are even though I see them when she is wet. I do have to admit, it was a great hair cut as far as going in the water all the time (in San Diego you can do that in December). Very low maintenance and I didn't even have to take a comb or brush to it for quite a while.

Here's one right after a shave! ANd Lucky does not look like the same dog. IN fact, we give him a new name when he gets shaved like this- "Baxter". Keep in mind , we are growing out his face, it use to be shaved, and that in a few weeks it will probably look better.

I love this summer cut, great for the beach and the hose in the backyard :) She goes in Saturday, it is starting to heat up hear already, supposed to hit 80 this week!

I believe it is an inch all over and she leaves the tail fluffy and her head and hears fluffier :)
