Hartley loves to chase leaves, or pretty much anything else blowing in the wind!! Why is it always windy on garbage day?? Does your doodle chase things as they fly past in the wind?

Yes, Charlie loves to chase leaves, jump on the piles, tunnel through the piles, etc....
She also pick up pine cones, too! Pine cone leaves does not seem to stick to her, but the other day, a buch of burr got stuck on the feet. She was in total panic, trying to get them off, ended up getting them around her mouth, even more paniced!! She was in so much panic, did not want me to touch her or help her to get them off... I finally got them all off, but she must have been in pain!
Both my dogs love to chase leaves..............and shadows, laser light and flash light!!! Oh mine love pine cones too, at my parent's home they have lots and lots of pine trees, so the dogs are in their glory there!!!
Oh yes, leaves are very exciting. Toby is not terribly adventurous - birds in the yard scare him, but leaves represent a good time! Whenever I see you guys walking Hartley looks so well behaved. I've never seen him pulling yet!
Ha ha, he still has his moments!!! Generally he is really good, but windy garbage days always mean an exciting walk!! His absolute nemesis is cats, he just can't contain himself if he sees one!! Sounds like Toby is a little shy still, I read that he didn't like Petsmart??
Yes he is a little timid. Not if people approach him calmly, but he does not appreciate someone running up to him. He does not like loud noises, or birds suddenly flying in front of him. He looks big and tough, but not so much.... :)
Yes, Yes, and YES! I actually use them as a distraction on windy days when I'm training her! It makes it super hard, but she's gotten a lot better. If we let her off leash she will just chase and play to her heart's content! She is also super interested in squirrels and birds and rabbits and any other little animal that happens to cross her path. She hasn't caught anything yet (luckily), but she sure tries. Not sure what she'd do if she actually did catch anything besides a leave.
Does chasing bubbles count? I haven't noticed leaf chasing, but we haven't had a very good fall with blowing leaves for them to chase.
Mine LOVE bubbles! That is one word I have to spell if I don't want to be attacked racing for the bottle :)
This is like Beau's FAVORITE activity!! If a leaf goes flying, he flies into action.
Yes...then eats them !!!!
Winston is a leaf chaser also. You never know which way he will pull you. He loves pinecones sticks/twigs and brings them home from his walk. We cannot pick up sticks/limbs and pile them in the yard because they disappear before we can collect them - I wonder who could have done that???? Basically, anything that moves gets his curiosity up. He loves squirrels but can't figure out where they go when they run up a tree - he has run around and around a tree trying to find the squirrel.
