Hide-A-Squirrel

I just purchased the Hide-A-Squirrel for my Max (mini LD) who is currently 16 weeks old. He loved it! It even gave him a case of the zoomies - LOL.

It comes in different sizes and I purchased the junior size at a local pet store for $13 and change. Unfortunately, I figured out that you can get it on the net for $7 and change plus shipping or @ Amazon for $11 and change - and it's eligible for their free super saver shipping. They also sell replacement squirrels for dogs who like to kill animals that were never living to begin with. :)

We have the squirrels, and Halas loves them. I've got a video on my page of Halas tossing the squirrels down the stairs. He'll carry that tree around all night looking for a place to hide it. We're due for some replacements squirrels, because our squirrel tree right now contains 2 shells of squirrels and one leg of a giraffe toy.

Thanks for the info on replacement squirrels. My Murphy loves his. Got the medium one when he was about 9 weeks old and he used to get most of his head in the tree hole, now his nose gets stuck. Cute when he tries to swat it off. He continues to love that toy. Who ever thought of it sure knows dogs. Murphy is now 15 weeks and about 28 pds. He's probably going to "kill" his squirels someday soon too.

We have the birds and Caeleach has let them live since CHRISTMAS! She has had them since she was 11 months old and Seamus was 6 months, when he came to live with us.

We just keep putting them back into the birdhouse and she and Seamus keep taking them out and squeaking them to death.

We have not had to get replacement birds yet. I AM AMAZED.

Riley has them too. He loves them, he will carry around a squirrel and squeak and squeak and squeak it some more.

Lucca HAD the bumble bees with the beehive but he ate the eyes off and took the stuffing out!!!! He was great with them at 4 months old and loved to shake them out then squeak them. Now at 6 months he eats them!!!! They are really cute.

I just bought the squirrel for Samantha and she just loves it!! I am amazed that she hasn't even atttempted to chew them to pieces. She seems to treat them like puppies - she carries them around in a 'soft mouth'.

Oh no! My Hudson LOVED this toy! it's was great.... until he realized he could pull the squirrels out... then he realized he could do the same to all his stuffed animals... but with the stuffing! Now i have a floor covered in toy stuffing daily!

Penny adores this toy. She loves sticking her snout inside one of the "tree holes," grabbing a squirrel, and squeaking it while it's still inside the tree. Then, she'll grab the whole tree stump and run around the house swinging it in both directions, hoping a squirrel will fly out! It's very well made... great toy.

Jordan did not like hers. She really does not get into the Squeaky toys to much. I did give to a friend's dog.OGM he loved it. If your dog into the squeaks great toy. I love the idea of the toy, Jordan not so much. Now, if it was hide the tennis ball, I think she would of be all over it.
