So, the few times I've had Lizzie out-and-about, everyone always comments that she looks just like a living teddy-bear! Then, while shopping, I found a stuffed dog that looks just like her! I was just wondering if any of you have stuffed animals that look like your doodles?! Do people say the same things to you?! Do you have pictures? I thought it would be fun to see them.
How cute all the pictures are! I have had a "scruffy" doodle with wiry hair for almost two years and didn't get the stuffed animal/ teddy bear comment with her, but now that I also have an australian labradoodle I am getting that comment all the time-- and she really does look like a stuffed animal! She is so fluffy that it is hard to tell that there is a skeleton under all that fuzz! I have attached a photo of a doodle stuffed animal I made (I make teddy bears and have made a few puppies too.) She looks more like a goldendoodle puppy I think. Take a look.
I love that Lizzie and her mini-me even have matching collars. Some people think Halas looks like a muppet or a bear. As I proved with his Halloween costume, his butt looks like Snuffleupagus, who is technically a muppet. A lot of people at work thought he looked a lot like Bear in the Big Blue House when he was a puppy.
My mom had the cutest stuffed dog - I swear it was a doodle, for several years. She bought it because it was just so darn cute and soft and cuddly. It was even apricot with darker ears just like Ned! She decided to give it to the little girl next door two weeks before we got Ned. It looked exactly like him. I have been looking for a replacement ever since. LOL
I get that Gunner looks like a Boyd Bear. In some pictures I can see it too. Boyd's are big here in PA. I love the look of Boyd Bears, So I am ok with it. The one attached is one where I can really see it.
That stuffed animal was the one that was under our Christmas tree the year we got Comiskey....and when we picked her up she looked just like that stuffed animal....but alas the life of a stuffed animal in doodle home is short lived....it was gone in less than an hour.....
I wasn't able to post pictures with my comment before so thought I'd go ahead and post some pictures of Whopper who often gets compared to a teddy bear.
