Today, April 15, Doodle Kisses TURNS ONE YEAR OLD!!!

Doodle Kisses turns a year old today, April 15th. I can hardly believe it.

Last April, my hubby Clark suggested I start this site thinking it would be a fun thing for doodle owners...crazy ones like me. (I think he was just trying to occupy me so I wouldn't complain about his computer time ;-))

So I gave in, but was secretly skeptical:
"Yeah..right...who's gonna join? There are plenty of other doodle forums and yahoo groups for doodle people!"

But he insisted that this site would be way different and more fun with more photos, videos, plus personal profiles. It really makes a difference when you know who you are talking to! He then proceeded to buy a domain and set up the site... so I had no choice. :-)

To my surprise, when I invited people...they came! And the site took off and became a wonderful place to share with other doodle lovers. Today, a year later, we have nearly 4000 members and a fun, active community with new friendships and great discussions. Hey, I am addicted to Doodle Kisses myself =)

I've said it before, but I have to say it again:

Doodle Kisses is what it is because of YOU!

All of you who participate and welcome others and are so friendly and willing to share advice and a glimpse of your life with your doodle(s). You are who make Doodle Kisses fabulous!

Thanks so much for the fun you've added to my day! Let's celebrate a year of doodle adventure!

In honor of our 1 year anniversary, our front page photo slide show theme will be "Doodle Kisses" and I'll be cycling through our past Doodle Kisses slide show too.
