I decided to give Abby a hair cut. I was pretty nervous but figured - what the heck, it'll grow back. She has been walking around panting since the snow melted! Well, here she is...

It turned out ok considering it was my first time clipping her. (she is still panting tho!! LOL)

Thank you. You know, I didn't think Abby would sit still either but I took her out on the deck and she did great - for the most part. I did do it in 2 sessions tho. She did so well for a while and when she got antsy, we took a break. This was her first clipping too. She really surprised me.

Well, my husband has decided he wants to groom ours, so I think will show him these pics of Abby and tell him, "This is what I expect them to look like when your done!!" Yeah, right!

Thanks - he will do great. If he has the desire to learn, great! Just remember, IT DOES GROW BACK! lol (You may have to keep telling yourself that as the hair goes flying!) Good luck - you will have to post a picture when he's done. I would love to see how he does.

I have been having an anxiety attack because I know I need to get buddy clipped bcuz he is so hot. Thank you for these great photos. Our dogs are the same color and size and I am taking these and your isntructions to my groomer. You saved me and wow, you did a great job. Still looks like a doodle, just with shorter hair!
