What do you think of the new feature???

Hi Everyone,

Can you see the new "Who's Online?" feature? You can type in a message in the "Shout Message" box underneath the photos that slide across the screen. You can ONLY be seen by members who are logged in. So outsiders will not see you as "online."

What do you think of it? Helpful, useful, fun? Or annoying, not so useful? does it slow things down? Would you rather NOT show that you're online?

You can click the X and turn it off and turn it back on by clicking "Who's Online?" under the little box that says "Hello, Your Name!"

Let me know if we should keep it or drop it! Seriously...if you HATE seeing yourself up there...send me a private message. There is no current option to opt out of being "seen."

That's an important point for a lot of people to remember. Many, like me, are logged on all day (or mostly) because it's easier than logging in and out. It does not mean they have 'no life' or are required to respond to comments. I really enjoy seeing the online faces and if anyone looks through the member list they can see who is online or not anyway...this just clusters everyone together in an easy to identify place.

Update: Your comment can be deleted by simply clicking OK with a blank field and your comment will be vanished into thin air.

I like it Adina! And I like to shout a message to others too. I am one of the ones who is logged in most of the time and drift in off and on during the day. I just have a picture of Toby up there for me - so no problem as I love to see his, and everyone else's, smiling face!
