Remington has been getting sick at night lately... I called the vet to see if there was a need to be concerned. He suggested I start feeding him a little bit of yogurt mixed with his Eagle Pack. I then started reading up on yogurt and dogs and I guess it is good for them! Who would have thought?!? Anyways, I was looking for some good recipes that involve yogurt! Mostly snack recipes! I have gotten some from past discussions, but more would be appreciated! Thanks!

I do remember that from nutrition classes! Along with "smooshed". ROFL!!!!
LOL. The real fruit has it's own natural sugars in them which flavor the yogurt and none of the corn syrup. Of course, JD would have to have squished or smooshed tuna in his yogurt.
I just started giving my Jack Greek yogurt, because he has always had soft stools. What a difference. My guys think it is a treat so they line up when I get the container out. I just give them a couple of spoonfuls.
Greek Yogurt is so good! I'd line up too!!!! Going to groc. store in a.m. Think I will get some. And smoosh some blueberries in it.
What is Greek yogurt? Is it made with Feta cheese? Ha! Never have heard of it.
No, it's not made of feta cheese but it's a thick, tart yogurt you can find in the supermarket.
Charlie loves her Kong filled with banana and yogurt and frozen. Sometimes I put some kibbles in it, too.
are there any other dried fruits doods can have I know they can't have raisins or sultanas or is it better just give them fresh fruit I worry about the concentrated sugars in dried fruits they love yoghurt never thought of giving them flavoured yoghurt I might make some frozen yoghurt pops for a treat while it is hot at the moment here in australia
You can feed any dried fruits except for raisins...lots of people here use craisins (dried cranberries) instead of raisins. You could use dried apples, bananas, peaches...anything you would feed fresh. But give dried fruit in moderation. It's very nutrient dense, a lot more calories by weight than fresh, and could cause diarrhea in larger amounts.
You can freeze it and give it to them when it's hot out! Timbow loves frozen strawberry yogurt. It might be better and easier to do a healthy fruit flavored yogurt for them instead of adding dried fruits. :-)
I just mix his yogurt into his kibble for one of his meals, he LOVES it. Plus, if you keep it the same temperature you don't destroy all the good bacteria.
