Update -
What a day! Mark & I were taking the Doodles to the beach for breakfast. Got the email that we are the chosen ones. I was on a flight from NJ to Detroit at 230p in a car by 5p, had her in my arms at 645p! Talk about a whirlwind!

She is absolutely gorgeous! Soft as a babies tush - fleece - BLACK even her nose and lips! Her eyes are blue, at least for now. I think she will be a small standard but only time will tell. Her paws are not huge. Paperwork from vet says she weighs 7 lbs.

She is from an Amish puppy mill. This man has a relationship with the rescue so when he has a puppy he cannot sell to a pet store he calls them. She had a a hernia so she is 'damaged'. Her birthday is May 16th -10 weeks. She has been spayed and hernia repaired 2 days ago! Too young but......

She is a licker, chewer of the fingers - super puppy razor - ouch!! Thinks the chain on my camera is the coolest thing.

I hope she lets me sleep. I am exhausted. Our flight back to NJ is at 830a.

Her name is Charline - Charli for short. Named after my Dad, Charlie. He would be very proud!

I just read this when you asked about a puppy pen. How totally wonderful .... a new puppy .... terrific. Since she is so young she hopefully should not be affected by the puppymill since the first 8 weeks the puppy is interested in their mother and littermates ....

This little girl has a huge personality. No fear. She was playing with a fleece tug toy that was in front of Samantha. Samantha gently picked it up and started to back away and she wouldn't let go. She just wouldn't let go - so funny - she wound up sliding on the patio. Chutzpah!!
She will need lots of supevision - didn't have to do that with Samantha or Mickey. They were older and already finished the teething stage. Charli thinks that everything at her height is hers. Hopefulyly she will get the hint quickly.
