Clipper equipment ?????

I want to groom my dog myself and going to get the Oster 5 clipper.I shaved her a little, just to get some mats out and hand sheared the legs.
This is hard work !!!
But I know, I can do it and was just wondering,I'd like the fur a little on the longer side,she is 14 month old, and I believe she is still between baby and adult fur.She is matting alot,and I brush her everyday.
Besides the clipper,I do need those combs that go on the clipper,is there anything else I should get,
any tips are welcome,before I put in the order.

Yes there are ususally 6 comb attachments for varying cutting lengths, some Oster products come with the combs and also a video that explains the comb attachments. But be sure you are getting a heavy duty clipper to get through your Doodles Coat. I also use for trimming at home or between grooming: 6 Comb Attachments depending on cut which one I use, Slicker Brush, Styling Comb, Grooming Comb, Lubricating Oil, Cleaning Brush which I use a toothbrush it cleans clippers good.

Equipment required is influenced by the type of coat you are working with. Have you got a fleece or a wool coat? Do you want to keep a longer coat..or do you like a short coat for summer? Does she have a thick coat? The thicker the coat the shorter you have to go with a clipper. I have one wool girl will such a thick coat that I can only shave her with a number 10 blade. She has such a good solid body and thick coat that she looks good shaved to the skin. I scissor her legs, chest, head and tail so she doesn't lose her doodle look.
Your very first tool needs to be a steel comb. I use a clipper for doodle tummies, under the tail, inside the feet and to make a 1 inch wide trough from ear to ear under the chin where I shave clean. Other than that, I don't use a clipper.

I just use scissors myself for trimming, shortening the coat etc.

Is Oster 5 clipper the best and easiest? I was debating on the Andis 2 speed with the blade #10. Any help would be great before I drop a couple hundred dollars. Thanks!
