Looks like we lost the weight up-date discussion some how.
I enjoyed checking into it every now and then, so I decided to make a vol. 2.
Charlie was 13.7lb @ 10 1/2 wks, 19.7lb @ 15wks, 22.3 lb @ 16 wks, 30lb @ 23 wks, and now 35lb @ 27 wks.
Brewster had a vet apt. today and weighed 30.8 lbs. up from 28 last week! If he continues the trend of 3 lbs a week he'll be 37 lbs @ 16wks. x 2 = 74 +10 = 84 lbs. Wow! Big Dood! It'll be interesting to see when/where he peaks.
Spud finally is gaining weight again! Yeah. In 2 weeks he gained 3.5 pounds and is now a grand total of 48.5, finally. No height growth at this time but that's okay. Of course he will loose this weight for a few weeks as he is being neutered today also. Here he is just 4 weeks ago. We are so relieved he finally is looking more like a dog. I thought he might be part snake. The name of this photo is titled, Narrow.
Picture taken out in the workroom of the garage--so dirty floor.
Yester day at the emergency vet's office Charlie weighted 17.2 kg = 43 lb. Not much of growth here. She looks like a huge teddy bear since she still have all of her hair on her body.
Charlie's mouth swelled up like Nutty Professor's!
Emergency vet had two bloat surgery and could not see us for several hours, and while waiting it went down, so we left without being seen.
Someone told me to give her 25 mg of Benadryl, so that's what I did and save the $. I think she got stung by bee or something....She is perfectly fine now, with Buddy Love's looks. :)
Well I am relieved and I am sure You are too! My goodness. Also thanks for posting the benedryl mg amounts. I was just getting ready to search what the dosage was for pups our size.
Need something just in case I can't get Spud to relax today. We just brought him home from neutering.
Sorry folks--got off the weight subject for a minute.
Murphy was 28 pds at 16 weeks, and about 35 pds at 5 months, then 46 pds at 7 months, and is now 50 pds at 8 1/2 months. 21 .5 inches tall. Not sure where he'll end up in weight and height, but I know whatever it is, we'll love every inch/pound of him.
