I have a deposit down for a puppy due to come home late Oct/ or early Nov., but I can't seem to stop browsing sites & looking for puppies that are available right now! It's torture I know, but I can't help it! I'm impatient and impulsive I guess... Choosing our breeder, (Manor Lake, WA) was a long thought out process and a hard decision as I have a friends whom is also an awesome (and local...) breeder, (Grandview, VT)... Anyway, I have found myself faling in love with "currently available" pups of other breeders. I'm just wondering if I'm the only doodle adopter-to-be who has fall prone to this.
VERY normal and I do this several times daily! I'm VERY happy with the breeder of my puppy who is due in September. That said, I still love to look. I LOVE to window-shop!

I too am getting my Doodle in late Oct/early Nov...he was born last week!
I look at Doodles EVERY DAY, I can't WAIT to get him, and the breeder hasn't sent a picture yet..so I doodle watch every where & any where!
My Bichon passed away a little over 2 months ago & I miss having a dog SO MUCH - it's almost like I am obsessed with Doodles!!!
I am waiting for my pup who will come home to me November 29th and I still browse as well. The reason I am doing it though is because I will be picking her out at 6 weeks and I'm trying to see different F1 coats at various ages... It is great fun to window shop anyway but that is how I rationalize it lol.
Haha! I don't know about normal but I STILL look at puppies and I already have 3 dogs and I CAN"T have anymore. I think the whole process of buying and bringing home a new puppy is an exciting process and so we keep trying to get our puppy fix. LOL! Or..maybe it's just me. I don't know but I've bought 3 puppies in the past year. Haha! All Doodles. I'm finally done though No more. and I don't regret one of them. I have been so lucky with all the dogs we picked and brought into our family. We have been blessed and our family has been changed in a positive way because of them all. But I honestly do believe the whole process is addictive...YES!
