I am very sorry to tell you all that Zsa Zsa was hit by a car and killed today.
She was seen trotting along a highway, and by the time her family was notified, she had been hit. We are all grieving along with her adoptive family.
Jacquie and everyone at the DRC have asked me to thank all of you for your concern and prayers throughout this ordeal. Zsa Zsa's ordeal is over. She is at The Rainbow Bridge now, playing happily with all the loved dogs that are there waiting for all of us. She will never be frightened or alone again.
On behalf of the DRC, thank you all so much for your support. I am sure Zsa Zsa knows how many people are thinking about her.
I am so sorry to hear about Zsa Zsa... I too gave my doodle a big hug and thanked her for being in my life today. Rescue groups and their people are my heroes.
I am so-o-o-o sorry to hear this sad news. I was so in hopes that she would be able to go to her new home and find the love that she so deserved. Now my prayers turn to the family who never got that chance to show her the love.
Thanks to the DRC for all of their efforts in trying to save her, and thanks, Karen, for giving us this sad update on Zsa Zsa,
Thanks to everyone who played a part in helping locate her. I just made a little donation to the DRC in honor of her memory (another forum suggested this and I think it is a great way to remember to give this time of year).
I've just read the saga of Zsa Zsa, I'm so sorry about this outcome. I can't imagine how hurt her foster family and adoptive family must be, and magnified by the strong relief of hope, too. May the purpose (if you believe everything happens for a reason) be known soon and well, and may this tragic event lead to something better for all involved.
