Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I have seen several posts the last few days about what we, as dog owners, are thankful for and have loved reading them. We all have so much to be thankful for at this time of year -- our families, our doodles and other pets, our jobs, God -- the list goes on and on. Well, last night when I was doing my last-minute shopping for our big turkey dinner, I ran across a card that made me laugh and I thought I'd share it with you today!
IN HONOR OF THANKSGIVING,
HERE IS A LIST OF THE TOP TEN THINGS
THAT I, YOUR DOG, AM THANKFUL FOR:
10. Tummy rubs
9. Slow-running mailmen
8. Open toilet seats
7. Anything made of rawhide
6. Houseguests' legs
5. Trees, fire hydrants, telephone poles
4. Other dogs' butts
3. Sleeping cats
2. Car rides with the windows down
AND the #1 thing that I, your dog, am thankful for is....
That I belong to YOU!
Knox might argue that the list above is a bit out of order -- unfortunately he really likes #8 and would probably substitute SQUIRRELS for MAILMEN-- but I think he would agree that the #1 thing he's thankful for is RIGHT ON!
So...what changes would your dog make to the list, if any?
Oh, and by the way, Happy Thanksgiving and GIG 'EM AGGIES!

Nelson & Rufus are thankful for each other.. and the mud puddles they share.
SQUIRRELS!
running with dad
sleeping in bed with mom
getting to come onto the couch if Owen is bugging me too much (Kona)
peanut butter
antlers
Ned, Clancy, and Gordie would add baby Evie staying with us to their lists! She 'feeds' the dogs from her high chair. When she eats there are five dogs sitting, laying in a circle around her chair. She often says, "Uh Oh." as she drops a tasty morsel to the floor, or casually drops her hand over the side of the chair so a dog can come up and gently take a cheerio or banana chunk or CHEESE, yummy cheese.
Ha,ha,ha-----Nancy, I love this one! I can just see this happening...
Nancy this is a great visual....I hope to have a grand baby someday soon....get busy DD and SIL I think the 2 years you've waited is enough time. Of course I would never say that to them, I don't want to sound pushy! LOL
I think Zach would say - Gracie, Bruno, and Zoey. Being raw fed, including the turkey that we had for breakfast, and that mom loves us no matter what, and knowing that we will live together with her forever (which was not the case with Gracie and Zoey's former families). Zach would pass on the car rides - still has the car sick problem :-(
Snuggling with sis in front of the fire.
Sasha Would Say...
Massages...going in the lake...massages...playing with her friends...massages...her crate...massages...her beef marrow bone...massages...her antler...massages!! Sasha agrees with the number one thing on the list...Of Course! (smile)
And it's not an exaggeration Sue!
Send Bella over...I have two hands!! Lol...
Going for Car Rides, getting lots of HUGS< and having my Karen, Jack, and Bob home
