Shelby is so so fun to be in the car with.  She comes most all places with me that she is safe.  I totally enjoy her fluffy face blowing in the wind in the sideview mirror.  Girl reminds me of Valcor in the Neverending Story!  How many of you Absoultely Must take your Doodle with you?

rooney you are so cute! duncan is a mini and could use a booster seat. He has a tendency to "surf" (stands up and tries to balance on the seat so it looks like he's surfing) so he can see. But then he gives up and just lays down. He's 2 now and 30 lbs. i wonder if they make a seat like this large enough for him. he's a BIG mini.

Hey Sally, here is Bandit, all 31lbs + of him and he loves his seat.  It's just enough to prop him up so he can see out the window.

Hi Jane, rooney looks adoarable!  You might want to use a harness instead of clipping it to his collar ast he could still get hurt in a sudden stop that way.

I take Max whenever I don't have to leave him in the car. We always take him out to breakfast on Sundays and to the farmers market. At Christmas we took him with us to look at lights. He loves going to the post office and esp the drive-thru bank (can you say doggy biscuits)!!

Bella now loves the car, but at first she had to be caught and put into it. And then she'd vomit several times. She has gotten better about vomiting and now runs and tries to jump into the back of the SUV like her big brother Murphy.  He learned very young that car rides bring you to happy places and happy treats!!!

I love this car seat!  I wonder if keeping Tori stable in the car would keep her from pooping our make it worse and she would sit in it???? (sorry to put it so bluntly - lol)

Shelly - I totally recommend a car seat.  That picture of Rooney was when he was small but he is now about 15lbs and still fits so nicely in it.  I think it makes him feel secure bacause it has an edge to it and he can lay down if he wants.  I'd try it if I were you.  They are in every dog catalog.
