Just wondering if folks have noticed their doodles like television? My Sadie has a DVD for dogs called "While you are gone" and she really enjoys it....I don't know anyone else who has a dog that notices TV...so I am curious~
Lucy lays with her chin on the arm of the sofa with us every evening and watches TV. She will watch anything that is on, but if a dog happens to come on she will normally jump up and charge the TV barking, which then gets Sophie interested in what is on TV and it is one giant barkfest. Otherwise, Sophie could care less.
Neely likes the dog food commercials! And funniest pets and people. I just have to point out "puppy" and he perks up and starts to salivate and his ears wiggle then its his whole body.
Yes, Guinness watches any show with dogs. Even if he is sound asleep if I put one of the dog training shows on, he'll wake up and watch. He sleeps through all the other things I watch though.
Darwin likes random t.v. shows, there doesn't seem to be a pattern. Perhaps just interesting noises? He will go right up to the t.v. and intently stare at it from two inches away.
Peri ignores the TV EXCEPT when cartoons come on. Aladdan was on one day while we were flipping through. She heard the monkey Abu make his noises, stopped what she was doing and stared for a good 3-4 minutes. She ignores Animal Planet. But put it on a cartoon where the voices are a little weird and she bobs her head while watching it, like she is saying 'uhhuh, uhhuh, I get it"....
Yoda watches everything. He is definitely glued to the screen if there are dogs or other animals, but he watches sports, cooking, pretty much anything that is on!
